David Johansen, New York Dolls Frontman, Dead at 75 - Vulture
David Johansen, the last surviving member of New York Dolls’ original lineup, died. Johansen, who performed under the alter ego Buster Poindexter, was the subject of the 2023 Martin Scorsese documentary, Personality Crisis: One Night Only.
